Our Story

Sportsmen's Restaurant and Taverna is locally owned and operated by Greek immigrant Andreas "Andy" Karahalios, who bought the quaint cafe in 1976. Andy expanded the business from the original establishment dating from the early 1900s to include a full bar, Greek cuisine, and a large menu offering a wide variety of food.


Two distinct atmospheres accommodate different customer needs on either side of the building. The restaurant offers a warm and friendly atmosphere, perfect for family brunches and cozy dinners. In the bar area, you'll find more of an upbeat atmosphere and a great place to meet friends and talk with locals. Sportsmen's prides itself on keeping things simple, offering classic meals, fast service, and a friendly staff.
